About the project:
Yandex employees use office items daily: they pour coffee, use fridges and air conditioners. The problem was that all instructions and guides had been done hastily by non-designers. The style was chaotic, the content would not be updated for years, and it didn’t help employees at all.
The goal:
Creating a unified communication system, so that the office could “speak” to employees in an understandable language. Posters and navigation should hang in strictly designated places, and new information should be easy to add.

I wanted the style to be simple, yet friendly. The muted red color would draw attention but would not scream.

Now all Yandex offices (20 offices in Russia, even more in 12 other countries) use this communication system. A pool of Illustrators is trained to work in this particular style. The amount of unnecessary office equipment has decreased.
